Arbuckle: Sept. 2. Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water
83 and stained to clear. Sunfish excellent. White bass are surfacing,
early morning best. Crappie slow, except for night fishing under
lights. Channel catfish slow. Bass slow, with some action early
and late day on drop-shot and topwater. Report submitted by Jack

Blue
River: August 26. Elevation normal, water 79 and clear.
Bass fair on minnows, flies and plastics. Catfish good on liver
and worms. Report submitted by Charles Baker, technician at the

Broken
Bow: August 31. Elevation normal, water clear. Bass being
caught while schooling topwater early and late in mouths of creeks
and back water. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around structure
and baited holes. Walleye fair on deep-running crawdad colored
crankbaits around islands, points and rocky outcroppings following

Eufaula: September 1. Elevation normal, water clear. Largemouth
bass fair on plastics in deep points. Blue catfish fair drifting
fresh shad over deeper flats. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs
at 10-20 ft. under bridges and in standing timber. Report submitted

Hugo: September 1. Elevation normal, water 85. Largemouth bass
fair on minnows in creek channels and brush piles. Catfish fair
on trotlines with sunfish. Blue catfish good on cut shad, worms
and grasshoppers under large corks at 2-3 ft. below the dam.
Crappie fair on minnows in creek channels and brush piles. Report

Konawa: August 25. Elevation 1/2 ft. above normal, water 84
and clear. Largemouth bass good on topwater lures and crankbaits
at 5-10 ft. in schooling bass early and late. Channel catfish
good on chicken liver at 10-12 ft. around points. All other fishing

Lower
Mountain Fork River: Sept. 2. Zone 1 (in the park) seems
to be the only game in town. No reports from zones 2 or 3. Most
of the best flies have been quite small. Here is a partial list
of flies that have been producing well: Soft hackle hare's ear,
red fox squirrel, prismatic emerger, light Cahill, pale morning
dun, griffiths gnat and others.(never forget a woolly bugger).

McGee
Creek: Sept. 2. Elevation 1 3/4 ft. inches above normal,
water 84 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on plastic craws and
crawfish colored crankbaits at 6-18 ft. along rocky points and
also on topwater lures early and late. Report submitted by Larry

Murray: September 2. Elevation normal, water clear. All fishing
is starting to pick up due to cooler temperatures. Largemouth
and smallmouth bass being caught. White bass fair trolling crankbaits
early and late when schooling topwater. Channel catfish fair
on chicken liver, stinkbaits and worms. Crappie slow on minnows
and jigs at 15 ft. around brush piles. Walleye slow. Report submitted

Pine
Creek: Sept. 2. Elevation above normal and clear. Crappie
good on minnows and tube jigs. Bass good on topwater in the late
evening and early morning. Catfish good on cut hot dogs and cut

Robert
S. Kerr: Sept. 2. Elevation normal, water 77 and murky.
Largemouth bass fair at 5-6 ft. using crankbaits on the riprap
and plastic baits in the weeds and woody cover. Crappie fair
at 8 ft. using minnows fishing the bends of the old creek channels
with brush cover. White bass fair at 8 ft. trolling crankbaits
in the Sallisaw creek area. Blue and flathead catfish good at
10-20 ft. using fresh cut shad and live bait fishing the upper

Sardis
Lake: Sept. 2. Bass good to fair on plastics around points
and creek channels and around cover on spinnerbaits. Crappie
good off of Jack Fork bridge with minnows and off of tower. Flathead
catfish slow on live bait on jugs or trotlines. Blue and channel
catfish good on jugs and trotlines on cut bait or shrimp. White
bass good trolling around islands and on plugs and when found
surfacing. Walleye fair on plugs trolling around islands. Report

Texoma: Sept. 2. Elevation normal, water 84 and clear. Largemouth
and smallmouth bass fair to good on surface baits at Burns Run.
Striped and white bass good on live bait and surface lures at
Burns run. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut shad from Platter
Flats south. Crappie fair on minnows in Little Glasses Creek.
Sunfish good on worms around the fishing docks. All other fishing

fair on topwaters early and late. Crappie slow with some action
