Normandy

Client of Tennessee Bass Guide Service

I met Jerry Steakley in Manchester at 5:45am and we put the boat in the water at Fire Lake on Normandy about 6:30am. The sole purpose for the trip was to catch some of the big spots that Normandy is known for. Water temperatures was in the high 40's and the wind was already 10-15mph but the was clam to the 25-30mph that we had later in the day. No matter where you went you just couldn't get away from the the wind. We even had water come up over the front of the boat a couple times and it would work you to death just to keep the boat where you could make a decent cast. We did manger 10 total for the day and lost 3 others. We had 4 Spots 5 Largemouth and one big black nose Crappie. Normandy is another good choice here in middle Tennessee. Hope this helps
